Why I have decided this:

I decided on the name Protea for my business, not just because it is my favourite flower but because the Swartberg pass is well known for all the different type of fynbos that grows in that reason, when people heer about the pass, Prins Albert comes to mind. This way other people can also know about the little "dorpies" in our country. The climate in Prins albert is perfect for the project that I have thought about. It is sunny and extremlly hot most of the time. This way dressess will dry faster and more would be produced. I also decided on doing wedding dressess, it is something else and more detail and bigger dressess can be made. My target market is mostly aimed on brides. Most of the local people in Prins Albert has a problem with work because not much goes on there, this is a wonderful oppertunity to give them work and to show them what they are able to do with creativity.

 

Catch my vibe?

My main idea was to make it girly but vintage, pink, white, grey and a fynbos green is the main colours I will be working with. To bring in some visual movement, my adverts and shop will be filled with stripes up against the walls. I want it to be a clean, calm en elegant. It is going to be a different vibe of South Africa that clients are going to experience.
